PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED OF A PUBLIC HEARING OF THE WINFIELD BOARD OF PLANNING/ZONING TO BE HELD BEFORE SCHEDULED COUNCIL MEETING AT 5PM ON MAY 20, 2025. LOCATION IS WINFIELD CITY HALL IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding a request for a zoning variance to allow a business in an R1 Residential District.
The proposed plan is reasonable with consideration, to the character of the area being within 1000 feet of the downtown Business District.
The Board of Zoning has determined that the proposed plans set forth justify the granting of the variance and will be a positive visual within the desired area.

All persons who desire shall have the opportunity to be heard in opposition to, or in favor of, to allow for the variance to be granted.
The Planning Commission of the City of Winfield, Alabama directs the preparation of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Winfield and makes available the various forms and applications necessary to comply with the Zoning Ordinance and Building Permits required by the City of Winfield.
