PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED OF
A PUBLIC HEARING OF THE WINFIELD BOARD OF PLANNING/ZONING TO BE HELD BEFORE COUNCIL MEETING
AT 5PM ON SEPTEMBER 3, 2024
LOCATION IS WINFIELD CITY HALL IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding an application submitted requesting a variance to allow for proposed sign plans from the Pilot Travel Center which will be located at 159 Michael Spann Drive.
The proposed plan is reasonable with consideration, to the character of the Business District and are standard for all Pilot Travel Centers.
The Board of Zoning has determined that the proposed plans set forth in the application justify the granting of the variance and is a positive visual within the interstate highway.

Business Site Location: 159 Michael Spann Drive
Located in B-1 General Business District
All persons who desire shall have opportunity to be heard in opposition to, or in favor of, to allow for the proposed sign variance to be granted.

The City of Winfield offers condolences to the family of Councilman Ed Posey, who passed away on December 9, 2022. Councilman Posey served the City of Winfield with honor and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Posey family during this difficult time.
