Location:

Winfield Interstate Industrial SiteWinfield is located within a casual drive from several larger municipalities in Alabama and Mississippi including Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Jasper, Huntsville, Florence, and Tupelo to name a few. Most of these cities can be reached in 75 minutes or less with Huntsville being slightly more than two hours away.

Living in Winfield provides the small town conveniences our residents have come to love and appreciate while also remaining close enough to participate in the numerous activities offered in larger communities. In addition, our location offers residents easy access to Lewis Smith Lake, Lake Tuscaloosa, Bear Creek Watershed, Tombigbee Waterway, and other public lakes for recreation. Pikeville Country Club is a short 20 minute drive while several golf courses on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail are also nearby.

While a strategic location near Corridor X (future US Interstate 22) provides infrastructure support, it is the mindset of the city leaders and citizens that offers the greatest advantage for economic growth in Winfield.

Partnership:

Black Creek Mega SiteThe City has also partnered with other communities and the Black Creek Industrial Development group in another site on the north side of the Corridor. In addition, the City of Winfield works with the Community Development Foundation of Marion County in seeking new industry for the area.

The Mayor and City Council of Winfield are dedicated to working together with the surrounding communities to bring more industry and jobs to the Marion County area. Each community has something to offer and leaders from around the county can be more effective if they coordinate their efforts. In addition to the industrial sites in Winfield, each of the neighboring cities, including Brilliant, Guin, and Hamilton have developed industrial sites and we are proud to list them here in an effort to promote the County as a whole.
