The Winfield Police Department is comprised of 5 units: Patrol Division, Investigative Unit, Communications Division,  Criminal Records Section, and a Drug Interdiction Unit. the Department is currently serviced by a Chief of Police, one investigator, eleven sworn officers, and three civilian employees. The D.A.R.E program is serviced by an officer trained to motivate our middle school children to "Just Say No!" to the drug community.

The Winfield Police Department is directed by Chief of Police Scott Welch. Chief Welch employs every opportunity afforded the Police Department to keep current in any and all technology available to ensure the safety and welfare of the citizens of Winfield.
