The American Red Cross would like to invite you and your fellow firefighters, police officers and other emergency personnel to participate in the Battle of the Badges blood drive this May. The City of Winfield is scheduled for a blood drive on May 1st, for all of Marion County to compete in the Battle of the Badges. Winfield will battle alongside the City of Northport and the City of Tuscaloosa.
Battle of the Badges builds camaraderie among local first responders through a friendly competition to see who can collect the most units of blood. It’s a great way for friends, family, and emergency personnel to come together to donate blood and help save lives with the Red Cross.
Every two seconds someone in U.S. needs blood. Blood donations can make a positive, life changing difference for someone in need. That is why your help is needed more than ever!
Supporting the Red Cross is another great way to touch lives in the communities you serve every day. Please take the lifesaving challenge and schedule your blood donation!
