New Businesses Set to Open In Winfield
The city of Winfield has experienced a growth spurt recently with the opening of new businesses and others constructing buildings in which additional new businesses will open soon.
Currently under construction near the Wal-Mart Super Center on Highway 43 is a building which will serve as the home of a Baskin-Robbins franchise along with a Dunkin' Donuts store and a Little Caesar's Pizza. These businesses are owned by Birmingham's Ramon Arias, who already operates multiple Dunkin' Donuts franchises.
In addition to the above businesses, Dollar Tree recently opened doors in the old Wal-Mart building, also on Highway 43. Dollar Tree is a national company with thousands of stores conveniently located in shopping centers and malls in all 48 contiguous states.
Northwest Medical Center recently completed construction on a new extended hours clinic located in the Grey's Landing area near exit 30 of I-22 on Highway 129. The new Northwest Family Clinic recently held an open house to celebrate the opening of the clinic.
Northwest Family Care Celebrates with Open House
Northwest Family Care and Dr. Srilakshmi Settipalli celebrated the opening of their new extended hopurs clinic on September 18, 2014. In attendance were members of the Northwest Hospital Board, Mayor Randy Price and members of the Winfield City Council, several Northwest Medical Center employees and other citizens from the area. Dr. Settipalli and Christine Stewart, Northwest Medical Center Administrator, greeted guests and provided a tour of the new facilities at the clinic.
Dr. Settipalli and Northwest Family Care are available to help with your family's health-related needs, from the care of minor scrapes, colds and allergies, to the management of chronic diseases. Dr. Settapalli is ready to provide quality medical care, right here in Winfield, right when you need it.
Northwest Family Care is now accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, call 205-487-1260. The clinic offers extended hours because illnesses don't always adhere to regular office hours. Northwest Family care is open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
