The Chamber of Commerce Featured Business for the Month of November is Hatfield Medical Clinic

Hatfield Medical Clinic is located at 200 Carraway Drive, Suite 1, Winfield, Alabama, and has been serving Winfield and the surrounding area since 2001.  Dr. Jason Hatfield is Board Certified in Family Practice, has a fellowship in Wound Care Management and is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Alabama and Mississippi.  Dr. Hatfield also employs a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, Audrea Dooley.   Dr. Hatfield and Mrs. Dooley provide complete family care (Pediatrics to Geriatrics), sports medicine, wound care management, and senior care.  The clinic hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Dr. Hatfield also sees patients for wound care and hyperbaric treatment at the Northwest Medical Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center on Tuesdays and Thursday.

Dr. Clark Weeks

Clark Weeks graduated from UAB School of Optometry in 1991 and began practicing optometry in Winfield, Alabama upon purchasing the practice from Dr. William Smith.  He expanded in 2000 to meet the demands of the growing practice by building a new facility at 768 US Highway 43.  The practice offers complete family eye care including: comprehensive eye examinations, fitting of eyeglasses and contact lenses, pediatric care, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, and ophthalmology services available for cataract surgery.  Dr. Clark Weeks resides in Winfield with his wife and two sons.

The Chamber of Commerce Featured Business for September is White Oaks Inn Bed & Breakfast

White Oaks Inn Bed & Breakfast

The White Oaks inn is the restored estate of the Marvin Pearce Family. The home, built in 1918, was part of the Pearce family’s extensive land holding in the area, which also included the first county automobile dealership, dairy farm, grist mill and several other enterprises. Over the years, the home had fallen into disrepair and was finally abandoned. In 1992, Roger and Linda Sanders acquired the property and implemented the restoration to return this home back to its former glory. The White Oaks Inn Bed and Breakfast is located at 300 Regal Street in Winfield.

The Chamber of Commerce Featured Business for July 2011 is Ace Hardware.

Ace Hardware of Winfield

Ace Hardware of Winfield is owned by Spencer and Debbie Tuggle.  It has been open since February 2002 and provides a wide variety of items.   With a 10,000 square foot facility, Ace offers paint, hand tools with lifetime warranties (Craftsman, Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, and Black & Decker), electrical, plumbing, housewares/canning, lawn/garden, hardware and auto/outdoor living.

Subway Restaurant

Vasant “LaLa” and Milka Patel have operated the Subway in Winfield since July 24, 2009. Subway serves breakfast, lunch and dinner – providing Winfield with a meal anytime of the day.  The restaurant is located in the Foodland Shopping Center in Winfield.
